What stood out to me was when he talked about the memory he had when he was back in high-school. He was sitting out in the hallway with his one friend on the soccer team. He saw this kid walking down the hallway and thought he looked like a "fag," when the kid got close he jumped at him and acted like he was going to punch him which caused the kid to jump back into some lockers. He said the kid tried not to cry but did and walked away. He said looking back he can't see how someone could do that. He said that people who are first to jump and pick on somebody else for something are the people who are most afraid and powerless. Instead of picking on them we should be empathizing with them. This stuck out to me because it showed how much he has grown and how he is able to look back and see what he has done wrong. Overall, I just thought it was something significant.
